Why do people come to the Vineyard?

Elaine Pace asked this question to a group of 15 people, who had gathered at the Oak Bluffs Public Library to hear her discuss her latest book, "Island Home: Why People Come To Martha's Vineyard And Why They Stay

.

The interactive book talk was an opportunity for people to connect with others and to reflect on the topic of "Wash-Ashores".

Pace, a retired School Principal from West Tisbury, discussed her own experiences and those of the people highlighted in her new book. Her thoughtful and entertaining anecdotes made for an enjoyable evening for all those in attendance!

Thank you Elaine!
