We had another great book discussion group meeting revolving around "The Poisonwood Bible", by Barbara Kingsolver. Fantastic Fiction's website contains a brief biography about the author, as well as information about some of her other popular novels.
While many interesting and provacative issues were raised in the book, one of the main themes of this book was family relationships. Here is a link to the Hennepin County Library's suggestions for more books to read about family relationships!
Finally, it was decided that there will be no book discussion group meeting in the month of December due to the craziness of the holiday season!
We will meet again in January (see the library's events calendar for the exact dates) to discuss "The Constant Princess" by Philippa Gregory, books will be available at the beginning of the month at the library's main Circulation desk. for anybody that is interested in attending!
